We confirm the specific timing for your job at the estimate and again on the day, since weather and temperature affect how quickly the sealer cures. Our return visit happens about 24 hours later, once the sealer has cured.

A proper clean, sand, and seal typically lasts about 5 to 7 years before a reseal is worth considering. In between, we encourage an annual surface clean to keep the pavers looking their best and protect the integrity of the seal and the joints. Timing varies with sun exposure, traffic, and how the surface weathers, and we can advise you on your specific pavers.

Matte leaves a natural, low-sheen finish that keeps the pavers looking close to their dry, untreated color. Wet-look, also called stone enhancement, darkens and enriches the color for a deeper, just-rained appearance. Both use the same two coats of commercial-grade Trident sealer, so the choice is purely the look you want, and we confirm it with you before sealing.

We set honest expectations on older stone; efflorescence and algae that’s worked deep into the surface may not come all the way out, and we’ll tell you before we start. We treat efflorescence and staining as part of the clean, but on aged or degraded surfaces some of it may not fully clear, and that’s something we assess and discuss at the estimate rather than after the fact. We don’t strip old sealer, and we don’t work on structurally uneven surfaces.
